Baked Vanilla Doughnut

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 egg
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
- Glaze
½ cup powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp milk

Instructions
- For doughnuts
1. Spray a doughnut pan/silicon with a non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large size bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
3. In a separate bowl, combine butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Give a quick mix.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir together using a hand whisk until batter is smooth and lump-free. Fill ¾ full for each doughnut cavity. Place in the bottom rack of the steam oven and bake using Bake mode at 350°F for 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the doughnut come out clean. Cool in the wire rack.
- For glaze
1. In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients and stir constantly until smooth. If the consistency too thick, add ½ tsp of milk until desired consistency. Add food coloring if desired.
- To assemble
1. Dip the cooled doughnuts in the glaze, return to wire rack and top with sprinkles. Let it set for 15 minutes before serving.
